Why we build custom websites around search
Most websites are designed first and optimized later. That order causes problems. URL structures get chosen before anyone checks what people search for. Headings follow the design rather than the content. Schema gets bolted on with a plugin. By launch, fixing any of it means reopening templates that were meant to be finished.
IMPOSEO started as an SEO agency, so we build in the other order. Keyword research shapes the sitemap. The sitemap shapes the content model. The content model shapes the templates. Every custom website development project starts with the question of what each page needs to rank for and what it needs to convert, and the design follows from that.
A design system, not a set of pages
We start with design tokens: color, type scale, spacing, radius and motion values defined once and used everywhere. Light and dark themes come from the same tokens, so switching themes never breaks contrast or layout. Components are built from those tokens with Tailwind, documented and reused across templates.
This matters after launch. When your team adds a new service page or a new region, it uses the same components and looks right without a designer. The site stays consistent as it grows, and each new page carries the same SEO and accessibility structure as the first.
Fast by default, measured on real devices
Speed affects rankings, conversions and how many visitors stay long enough to read anything. We agree a performance budget at the start, covering page weight, JavaScript size and image formats, and check every template against it. Astro and similar stacks help by shipping plain HTML and loading JavaScript only where a component needs it.
We test on mid-range Android phones and throttled connections, not just on a fast laptop. That reflects how many people actually browse, from commuters in North America to mobile-first users in the Gulf, North Africa and English-speaking Africa, where data costs and network quality vary. The target is to pass Core Web Vitals in the field, not just in a lab test.
Motion that helps, not motion for its own sake
Well-judged motion makes a site feel considered. We use GSAP for scroll-linked animation, Lenis for smooth scrolling where it suits the design and the View Transitions API for page-to-page transitions. Each effect has a purpose, such as guiding attention or showing a sequence, and none of them blocks content from loading.
Every animation respects the reduced-motion setting on the visitor’s device. If you want a site where motion and 3D are central to the experience, see our interactive and 3D websites service.
Leads, bookings and the CRM
A website’s job is usually to start a conversation. We build contact forms, quote requests and booking flows that send data straight to your CRM, trigger confirmation emails and record each submission as a conversion in analytics. Spam protection keeps the pipeline clean. You can see which pages, campaigns and regions produce enquiries.
Built for the regions you sell in
We work remotely with businesses across the United States, Canada, Australia, Europe and the UK, the Middle East and Africa. Regional needs change the build. Arabic sites need right-to-left layouts, mirrored components and Arabic typography that reads well on small screens. French versions for Quebec or the Maghreb need their own URLs and hreflang. Sites serving Europe need GDPR-compliant consent that doesn’t break analytics or slow the page.
New build or revamp?
Not every business needs a site built from scratch. If your platform is sound, a redesign may be the better investment. Our website revamp service covers two tiers: Refresh, a redesign on your current platform, and Rebuild, a new site on a modern stack. If you are replacing an existing site, we handle redirects and launch checks as part of the project, following the same process as our SEO migration service. Either way, we start with a free website review and quote per project.
