AI SEO services

AI SEO services that make your brand the answer in ChatGPT, Gemini and Google

AI search engines no longer just list links. They read the web, pick a handful of sources and write the answer themselves. Our AI SEO services make your brand one of those sources, combining crawler access, entity signals, citable content and third-party mentions across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and Google AI Overviews.

What's holding your visibility back

1

Missing from the answer

Buyers ask ChatGPT and Perplexity for recommendations and your competitors get named. A page-one Google ranking no longer guarantees a place in the answer itself.

2

AI crawlers blocked by accident

A blanket robots.txt rule, a CDN bot setting or a JavaScript-only page can stop OAI-SearchBot, PerplexityBot or Bingbot from reading your site, and nobody on the team notices.

3

AI gets your facts wrong

Outdated pricing, discontinued products or a rival's features attributed to you. When AI systems lack clear, consistent sources, they fill the gaps with guesses.

4

No way to measure it

Most analytics setups scatter AI referrals across direct and referral traffic, and Search Console doesn't separate AI Overviews. Without a baseline, AI search is a blind spot.

Generative Engine Optimization

Generative engine optimization (GEO) is the practice of earning mentions and citations inside answers written by AI. We map the prompts your buyers ask, find out who AI engines cite today and why, then close the gap with entity work, citable content and third-party mentions.

Answer Engine Optimization

Answer engine optimization (AEO) structures your content so search engines and assistants can lift a single, trustworthy answer from it. We research the questions your buyers ask, write answers that fit how snippets, voice assistants and AI responses are built, and back them with schema and authority.

Google AI Overviews

AI Overviews and AI Mode are built on Google Search itself, so the path to a citation runs through strong SEO, not a separate submission. Our AI Overviews SEO work makes your pages the clearest, most trustworthy source for the questions where Google now writes the answer.

ChatGPT SEO

ChatGPT answers some questions from what its models learned in training and others by searching the web in real time. Our ChatGPT SEO covers both: we make your site reachable for ChatGPT search, strengthen the signals that shape what it says about you, and track how often you are recommended.

Perplexity, Gemini & Copilot

Perplexity, Gemini and Microsoft Copilot all cite sources, but each draws on a different index. Our Perplexity SEO, Gemini and Copilot work makes sure all three can reach your content, then builds the clarity and authority that earn you citations in each.

AI Visibility Tracking

You can't improve AI visibility you don't measure. We track how often ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and Google AI Overviews mention and cite your brand, whether what they say is accurate, and how much traffic and revenue AI referrals bring.

What's included

Our AI SEO service, end to end

Every engagement is scoped to your site and goals. These are the building blocks we combine.

AI visibility audit

A baseline of how often your brand is mentioned, cited and described correctly across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and AI Overviews for the prompts your buyers use.

Prompt and intent mapping

Your keyword research extended into the conversational prompts buyers actually type, grouped by funnel stage and mapped to the pages that should answer them.

AI crawler access and Bing indexation

Per-crawler robots.txt rules, CDN and firewall checks, server-rendered content, Bing Webmaster Tools, IndexNow and an llms.txt file.

Entity and Knowledge Graph work

Consistent Organization data with sameAs links, cleaned-up profiles on the platforms AI systems cross-reference, and groundwork for a Google Knowledge Panel.

Citable content optimization

Pages restructured so each section opens with a direct answer, backed by specific facts, original data and clear sourcing that a model can lift and attribute.

Brand mentions and digital PR

Linked and unlinked mentions earned in the publications, review sites, communities and comparison lists that AI engines retrieve most often in your category.

Connected schema markup

Organization, Product, Service, Article, FAQPage and author markup joined into one graph, so machines read your facts instead of inferring them.

AI visibility reporting

Monthly citation rate, AI share of voice, answer accuracy and AI referral traffic, reported next to your organic results so both channels are read together.

The AI-readiness checklist

These are the eight checks we run first on every AI SEO engagement. Some are documented requirements from the platforms, others are practices we observe in cited pages. We always tell you which is which.

  1. 01

    llms.txt file

A proposed standard that gives language models a markdown summary of your key pages. No major AI search provider has confirmed using it, so we treat it as low-cost housekeeping, not a ranking lever.

  2. 02

    AI crawler robots rules

Separate decisions for search crawlers (OAI-SearchBot, PerplexityBot, Claude-SearchBot) and training controls (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, the Google-Extended token), checked against CDN and firewall settings that can override robots.txt.

  3. 03

    Bing indexation and IndexNow

Bing's index grounds Microsoft Copilot, and Bing is one of the search providers behind ChatGPT search. We verify Bing Webmaster Tools coverage and push new and updated URLs through IndexNow.

  4. 04

    Entity and Knowledge Graph signals

One consistent description of who you are, what you offer and where, repeated across your site, Google Business Profile, LinkedIn, industry directories and Wikidata where you qualify.

  5. 05

    Connected schema

Organization, Service or Product, Article and Person markup with stable IDs and sameAs links, validated so every page describes the same entity in the same way.

  6. 06

    Citable content structure

Question-led headings, a direct 40 to 60 word answer under each, then evidence: numbers, definitions, comparisons and named sources a model can quote without rewriting.

  7. 07

    Brand mentions beyond your site

Mentions on review platforms, trade media, forums and comparison articles, linked or not. AI answers lean on what others say about you, not only on your own pages.

  8. 08

    Freshness signals

Visible last-updated dates, dateModified in schema, current statistics and a refresh schedule for pages that answer time-sensitive questions.

What our AI SEO services cover

Our AI SEO services make sure the systems behind ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot and Google AI Overviews can find your content, understand your brand and trust it enough to cite. You may also hear it called AI search optimization, LLM SEO or generative engine optimization. The work sits on top of classic SEO rather than replacing it, but the goal shifts from “rank a page” to “be named in the answer.”

That matters because the answer is often the whole experience. A buyer who asks an assistant for the best payroll software for a 50-person company may read a shortlist of three names and never open a results page. If you are not one of the three, you were never considered.

How generative engines pick their sources

Each AI search product works a little differently, and none publishes its full ranking logic. The broad pipeline is well described in research on retrieval-augmented generation and in the providers’ own documentation, though. It has four stages.

1. Retrieval

The system turns the prompt into one or more search queries and pulls candidate pages from an index. Google has documented that AI Overviews and AI Mode may use “query fan-out,” running several related searches across subtopics. If your page isn’t indexed, or your robots rules block the relevant crawler, you drop out at this step.

2. Ranking and grounding

Candidates are scored for relevance and trust, and the strongest passages are handed to the model as grounding material. Classic signals still count here: authority, topical depth, freshness and clean HTML. A passage that answers the question directly is easier to use than one buried under a long introduction.

3. Synthesis

The model writes an answer from those passages plus what it learned in training. Training knowledge explains why brands with many consistent mentions across the web get recommended even when none of their pages is retrieved. It also explains why errors appear when sources are thin or contradictory.

4. Citation

Finally, the engine attributes claims to sources as numbered links, source cards or inline mentions. Not every mention gets a link, and not every cited page gets named in the text. We track both, because a mention shapes the buyer’s shortlist and a citation sends the click.

What is documented and what is observed

We separate the two in every recommendation. Google says there are no special requirements for AI Overviews beyond being indexed and eligible to show a snippet. OpenAI says pages must be open to OAI-SearchBot to appear in ChatGPT search answers, and Perplexity says PerplexityBot powers its search results rather than model training.

Other patterns are observed but unconfirmed. AI answers seem to favor pages with specific numbers and clear definitions, lean on review and community sites for recommendations, and prefer recently updated content for time-sensitive topics. We test these patterns on your prompt panel instead of treating them as rules.

Why SEO is still the foundation

AI engines retrieve from search indexes, so pages that are indexed, fast and authoritative start with an advantage. Our technical SEO work makes sure crawlers receive complete HTML quickly. Content SEO builds the topical depth models draw on, and link building and digital PR earns the mentions that shape how models describe you.

How we deliver AI SEO with the IMPOSE Method

We Investigate with an AI visibility baseline across a panel of real buyer prompts. We Map those prompts to intent and to the pages that should win them, then Prioritize fixes by impact and effort. We Optimize access, schema and page structure, Strengthen entities and third-party mentions, and Evaluate monthly with citation rate, AI share of voice and AI referral traffic.

Our specialist pages go deeper on generative engine optimization, answer engine optimization, Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT SEO, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot and AI visibility tracking. Each one uses the same method, tuned to how that engine finds sources.

How to compare AI SEO companies

When you compare AI SEO companies, ask three questions. Does the agency measure visibility with a repeatable prompt panel or with a few screenshots? Does it separate documented platform behavior from theory? And does it still do the SEO fundamentals that retrieval depends on?

Be wary of anyone promising guaranteed placement in ChatGPT, because no one controls how a model answers. A credible partner shows you its method, its baseline and the specific changes it will make.

Who this is for

AI SEO pays off for businesses whose buyers research before they buy: B2B and SaaS companies, professional services, e-commerce brands and multi-market companies across the US, Canada, Australia, Europe and the Middle East. Ask a question

What are AI SEO services?

AI SEO services optimize your website and brand so AI search tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot and Google AI Overviews can find, understand and cite you. The work combines technical access for AI crawlers, entity and schema signals, content structured for direct answers and third-party brand mentions, all measured with a repeatable prompt panel.

How is AI SEO different from traditional SEO?

Traditional SEO aims to rank pages and win clicks, while AI SEO aims to get your brand named and cited inside generated answers. The foundations overlap heavily, because AI engines retrieve from search indexes. The differences are the extra signals, such as brand mentions and entity consistency, and the measurement, which uses citation rate and share of voice rather than rank position.

Do we still need traditional SEO if buyers use ChatGPT?

Yes. Google still handles the large majority of searches in most markets, and AI engines pull much of their material from search indexes. A page that isn't indexed, fast and authoritative is rarely cited. We treat traditional SEO as the foundation and AI visibility as a layer built into it, not as a separate channel competing for budget.

Which AI platforms do you optimize for?

We optimize for ChatGPT search, Perplexity, Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and Google AI Overviews and AI Mode. Each draws on different indexes and crawlers: Bing matters for Copilot and ChatGPT, Google's index for AI Overviews and Gemini, and Perplexity's own crawler for Perplexity. Our prompt panel tracks each one so you can see where you are strong and where you are missing.

How do AI search engines decide which sources to cite?

Most follow a retrieval-augmented process. They turn the prompt into searches, retrieve candidate pages, rank passages for relevance and trust, write an answer grounded in the best ones, then attribute claims to sources. Providers document parts of this process but not their exact ranking signals, so we combine documented requirements with patterns we test on your own prompts.

Can you guarantee our brand will appear in AI answers?

No, and be cautious of anyone who does. AI answers vary between runs, users and locations, and no agency controls how a model responds. What we commit to is the work that raises your chances in measurable ways: crawler access, indexation, clear entity signals, citable content and earned mentions, all tracked against a baseline every month.

How long does AI SEO take to show results?

Engines that search the live web, such as ChatGPT search and Perplexity, can reflect changes within weeks once pages are recrawled. What models recall from training data changes more slowly, because it depends on new model versions. For competitive categories, plan on three to six months before citation rate and share of voice move meaningfully, similar to organic SEO.

How much do AI SEO services cost?

It depends on scope: the number of markets, platforms and prompts we track, and how much technical, content and PR work is needed. We quote after an audit so you only pay for work that addresses real gaps. Our Free AI Visibility Audit shows your baseline before any proposal is discussed.

Should we block AI crawlers?

Usually not the ones that power search answers. Blocking OAI-SearchBot or PerplexityBot keeps your pages out of ChatGPT search and Perplexity citations. Training crawlers such as GPTBot and ClaudeBot are a separate business decision about whether your content trains future models. We help you set rules for each and confirm your CDN or firewall isn't overriding them.

What is LLM SEO?

LLM SEO is another name for optimizing how large language models describe and cite your brand. It overlaps almost entirely with generative engine optimization and AI SEO. The practical work is the same: be retrievable by AI search crawlers, be a consistent entity across the web, publish content models can quote and earn mentions on the sites models trust.

What should we look for when comparing AI SEO companies?

Look for a repeatable measurement method, honesty about what is documented versus assumed, and strong traditional SEO skills. Ask any AI SEO agency how it builds and reruns its prompt panel, how it handles answer variability and what it will change on your site in the first 90 days. Treat guaranteed placements or secret ranking hacks as red flags.

Can you work with our existing SEO agency or in-house team?

Yes. Many teams bring in a specialist for the AI layer while keeping their current SEO or content partner. We share the prompt panel, recommendations and reporting so everyone works from the same data, and we can write developer-ready tickets or brief your writers directly.

Is there a long-term contract?

No. AI SEO engagements run month to month after an initial three-month period. Those first three months cover the baseline, crawler access, entity work and the first content changes, which is the minimum needed to measure a real change in citations and share of voice.
