## What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include session storage and local storage, which keep small pieces of data in your browser. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab, while local storage stays until it is removed. In this policy, "cookies" covers all of these.

Some cookies are strictly necessary for a website to work securely. Others help features you choose to use work smoothly. Optional cookies, such as analytics or advertising cookies, need your consent in many countries.

## Our approach

We keep cookies to a minimum:

- We use only technologies that are strictly necessary for security and spam protection, or functional storage that makes our forms and tools work.
- We use Google Analytics 4 only if you allow it through the consent banner. Until you choose "Allow analytics", the Google Analytics script is not loaded and no analytics data or cookies are sent or set.
- We do not use advertising cookies.
- We do not use retargeting or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not load social media tracking pixels.
- We do not sell data collected through cookies.

You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the website footer.

## Strictly necessary technologies

These are needed to deliver and protect the website. You can block them in your browser, but parts of the site, such as the lead form, may then stop working.

### Cloudflare security and performance

Our website is hosted and protected by Cloudflare. Depending on which security features are active, Cloudflare may set the short-lived cookies __cf_bm, cf_clearance and _cfuvid to tell people from bots, remember that you passed a security check or apply rate limits. These cookies do not identify you personally and are not used for advertising.

### Cloudflare Turnstile

Pages with forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-focused alternative to traditional CAPTCHAs. It runs a quick check in a Cloudflare-hosted frame, using signals such as your IP address and browser characteristics, to confirm that a real person is submitting the form. Cloudflare states that it does not use Turnstile data for ad targeting. Any storage Turnstile uses is limited to completing the check.

### Attribution record (session only)

When you arrive on our site, your browser's session storage keeps a small record called imposeo_attribution. It contains your landing page, the referring page and any campaign parameters in the link, such as UTM tags or a click ID. It stays in your browser and is sent to us only if you submit an enquiry, so we know how you found us. It is deleted automatically when you close the tab.

## Functional browser storage

These items make features you choose to use work. They stay in your browser and are not used to track you across other websites.

- **imposeo_prefill** (session storage) carries the details you type into a quick form over to the full proposal form, so you do not have to enter them twice.
- **imposeo_quiz** (session storage) remembers your result from our readiness quiz while you browse.
- **imposeo_motion** (local storage) remembers whether you chose to reduce motion using the footer switch.
- **imposeo_msf_v1** (local storage) saves your progress in the proposal form, so you can return and finish it later. It is removed once you submit the form.

## Analytics

If you allow analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read, how visitors find the site and which forms are completed. We use it with IP anonymization and without advertising features, and we do not use it to identify you personally. Google processes this data as our service provider under its data processing terms, which may involve transfers outside your country protected by standard contractual clauses.

## How to manage your choices

### Consent banner

On your first visit, a banner asks whether you allow analytics. Choose "Allow analytics" or "Reject". You can reopen the banner at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics collection; you can also delete existing `_ga` cookies in your browser.

### Browser settings

Most browsers let you view, block and delete cookies and site data, including session and local storage. Blocking all cookies may stop some features, including form protection and saved form progress, from working. Check your browser's help pages for instructions.

### Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we will treat it as a request to reject analytics for that browser.

## Legal basis by region

- **EU and UK:** under the ePrivacy Directive, the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations and related laws, strictly necessary and functional storage relies on the exemption for services you request and on our legitimate interest in security. Analytics cookies are set only with your consent.
- **United States and Canada:** we give you clear notice of the technologies we use, and we will honor opt-out signals where state or provincial laws require it.
- **Australia, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and other markets:** we apply the same minimal, consent-first approach, which meets or exceeds local requirements in the markets we serve.

## Changes to this policy

We will update this policy if we add, remove or change the technologies we use. The updated date on this page shows the current version, and we will ask for your consent before introducing any new optional cookie.
